In 2017, Italian restaurateur and legendary truffle hunter Umberto Ferri opened Casa Modena in Culver City, bringing the Emilia-Romagna tradition of good, authentic Italian food to an eager clientele. This hidden gem has become an “insider’s hangout,” featuring homemade pasta and fresh ingredients made from scratch daily, and fresh truffles imported directly from Italy. Small and intimate, every detail of the restaurant’s decor and ambience reflects the relaxed spirit of the region––from the long, family-sized patio table, to the cheerful bar, comfortable dining room, and festive Italian lights. A clever wall display houses Umberto’s truffle products, which are available for sale at Casa Modena and The Cheese Store of Beverly Hills. The menu features 4-5 specials daily, full bar, and an interesting array of Italian wines.
